New Trade Union Workgroup at Vodafone

On 12th October 2017 Chairman of LIGA Trade Union Central Hungary had announced that Vodafone employees have founded the LIGA Trade Union Vodafone Employees Workgroup in Budapest, Hungary. The primary goals of the Trade Union -among others- are to enhance the financial and social status of employees within Vodafone Group''''s Hungarian affiliates. The 2 largest companies Vodafone operates in Hungary have a combined staff of approximately 4000.

New Trade Union Workgroup at Vodafone

The group has been formed in September of 2017 and evolves rapidly as many employees find the initiative useful said Peter Trembulyak, Chairman of LIGA Trade Union Central Hungary. The workgroup has elected its representatives and specified its program.

Official announcement of the group has been followed by immediate efforts to get in touch with Trade Union and Works Council partners that operate in other countries.

The group hopes to gain experience from Trade Union partners, however adoption of best practices is subject to local regulations.

Members of the newly established group have asked LIGA representatives to support the union''''s work with their professional experience and expertise to protect the best interests of employees.
